argh!! the st andrew investiture is more boring than i thought.. but me and olivia both learnt a meaningful and painful lesson : NEVER ASSUME!
ok it started wif vanathy's skirt being too loose and i had to use pins to hook it up but still it kept sliding down. then realised that the heels were a tad bit too uncomfortable, and i wasn't used to it at first so i kept stumbling. i look strange lah!
okok imagine me in a thick blazer wif white long sleeve white skirt and black heels wif olivia taking a bus and asking for directions. comical right??
the moment we left school was the start of our "horrible" journey. first we waited and waited and waited for bus 231 to come to go interchange. and both of us were perspiring like crazy. and guess wad? 8 taxis(i counted) zoomed by us and they were all empty! olivia kept saying " the air-coned, cool, fast taxi that will get us dere in 10 min" yepp we waited near 10mins++ for the bus and had to wait for another 10min and when we got it was like whoa...
the place is so damn HUGE! i think its easily 5x beatty :/ ok when we got there it was like deserted. we walked around. walked as in in our super painful HEELS had to climb three flight of stairs just to get to the the general office. thought my feet was gonna snap any moment. sorry for the cursing of the heels but i really hate em.
walk and walk from one end to the other and guess wad? we went to the wrong place!!!! thankyou some jc guy who told us that it was at city hall dere the cathedral. curse u saints!! never state the add properly. and the ppl dere damn rich sia... lamboughini and bmw and mercedes... rich.
anyways we met this couple who was lost too and they offered us a ride :D we were sooo fortunate! they introduce themselves and the lady's called agnes and guy called steven. i think. they said their son was in the investiture and they were invited to go so we sorta hitched a ride frm them XD arrived there late by 20 mins and was quickly ushered into the backrow. i couldn't even see a thing lor.. and the cathedral is super ulu and rundown. den olivia say i sit like a guy and she made me cross my legs like ladylike liddat... super uncomfortable. so in the end i sat wif my legs uncrossed but still not exposing anything :P
went in and immediately the congregation stood up to sing a hymn. we didn't have the hymn sheet so we just.. well hummed along(outa tune) the whole ceromony lasted about onli 20 mins or less.. but very very traditional like. they got special way of putting badge and keeping it and even blessing it. but the worse was yet to come...
its so super horrible i feel like cheated!! there is no food!!!!! no buffet dere or any snacks or anything.. :(( i was half dead wif hunger. its even more budget that beatty's investiture lor.. their present was even worse they didn't even made it themselves but they were some extra made gifts by their frens.. -*- talk about budget.
made some frens from zhonghua. super nice ppl and frens frm whitley too. and a strange guy called lester who is frm singapore's brainiest kid (season 3) dun believe wadever olivia say abt me in st andrews. dun believe!!

its the hols~ its the hols~ lalala~~ come on sing along~ yepp the hols are just round the corner :D and i know that some of us had already started to plan and not to mention carrying out some pre-holidays activities. for example... the ubin trip !yess!! its a big sucess! well.. kinda.. but i noe tat its fun :) we (bryan, chengwei, vinson, chloe, kek,me) woke up at the crackof dawn and took the mrt all the way tampines and a bus ride that took abt near 1/2 an hr to changi terminal. took bumboat to changi($2) and had to wait for sometime until there is 12 ppl den the boat will leave and there was these 2 angmoh couple sitting behind us and for the rest of the day, we kept meeting them..in the beach and on the jetty the rental shop.. everywhere. lolthe rental shop's bike super lousy lah.. and dirty. budget. our stamina super lousy can? we jus cycled less than 10 min den start perspiring like siao and panting and stopping at every hut and looking at the map in case we got lost or smth.and guess what the first thing we saw was this super creepy looking dog with just a vein that connects the leg wif the paw! eww.. its damn gross and its swinging(checkout the pic in chloe's blog she got all the photos) we cycle an estimated 10km or more with around 10++ upslopes and get to zoom down! super fun and cool.. den after around 1hr of cycling, we reach mamam beach.. nth much to see but we had a picnic :) loads of food yumyum.. (chloe u still owe me the cookies) we took out 100+, pringles, bread, biscuits and started eating and toking. we BONDED! den vinson and chengwei was doing som funy act the cherries or smth.. anyway its darn funny. and the angmoh couple i was talking abt, cycled dere too.. dey den disapeared at the end of the beach like for 1/2 and hr and bryan started saying tat dey were doing "smth" at the beach and i tot they got murdered by the chinese couple tat was following em.den we cycled somemore and went to chek jawa and the path dere was quite narrow and not to mention steep. and when i mean steep its really steep jus like tat----/ we cycle cycle den finally came to the peak and saw a beautiful sight.... *sighs* just like frm the txt book according to chloe super nice lah.. kek was saying "we cycle so much finally got reward(the magnificent view)" den we headed back for some coconuts. mm... so sweet and tasty and refreshing :D except for chengwei's and mine which was overipe and the flesh was like rock hard cement. but the juice was awsome!!headed back to the forest and i saw my church ppl!! lydia's family and ruth's family.. so coincidental lah.. we cycle cycle, den saw a grp of dogs and poor kek was scared into thinking tat dey were chasing after her and pedalled so fast away. and when i heard her scream, i turned around and screeched to a halt in front of dog.. and according to vinson, i was staring at it in shock for a while. cyclecycle.. to cut things short, we cycled halfway and kek's chain fell out and chengwei leg cramp and it started to rain so we had to head back to the jetty to shelter. and we were all like praying the rain would go to ecp dere :P we are evil..aft a while cycle somemore and halfway chengwei leg cramp again so had to turn back and return our bikes. and we sat in the same boat as my church frens :D didn't talk much though, cos i could tell everyone was quite sleepy and most of us were yawning. went to tampines mall to eat lunch. ordered korean kimchi set. chicken udon(chengwei), rock hard cement beef(bryan), ban mian(kek) wanton mee(vinson) nothing( chloe) :D we then parted at the mrt station. went home aft that wif bryan and chengwei. bryan... evil brainwasher. now make me confused whether to go thripe sci or double sci..check out the pics at chloe's blog :)) day rating: 9/10!!
